Coaching Samsung's
Next Gen Innovators

Finding Market-Product Fit with Design Thinking

Summary

Empowering 40 young innovators for Samsung's 2023 Solve for Tomorrow challenge, I led two dynamic workshops focused on finding Product-Market fit through applied Design Thinking principles. Through interactive sessions, we delved into the concept of market-product fit, conducted live customer research, and explored the fundamentals of crafting a compelling value proposition. Participants left with practical tools and newfound skills to continue developing their game-changing solutions to the world's challenges, with the winner taking home £10,000.

  • Engaged delegates through interactive activities like building a live persona and capturing customer insights in real-time using collaborative tools and group discussion.

  • Illustrated concepts with familiar examples that resonated with delegates, making complex ideas more accessible and memorable.

  • Provided delegates with tangible tools such as persona and value proposition templates, as well as competitor analysis frameworks, to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios.

The Solution

Excited to collaborate with this group of young innovators, I designed an interactive learning experience centred on knowledge integration and practical application. My aim was to empower these delegates with the tools to unleash their creativity and foster impactful change. To breathe life into the concepts, I honed in on three key elements of the workshop's design:

Great session yesterday and looking forward to the next one! We’ve had a lot of really positive feedback come in already from the younger age group!
